01 Nov A SHEET MASK FOR EVERY OCCASION
If you are like me and may or may not have a slight obsession with a face mask, then this is the post for you. This week we take a look at the wonders of a sheet mask.
Why yes you can get a sheet mask that is in fact dry, one that is comprised of silver foil, or one that will transform you into a cat or a panda (Skin79). You name it, it’s out there. Not as readily available as it is to our overseas friends, but if you look you shall find.
I took the liberty of testing some out for you, and here are some of our favorites.
Available online or from the stand alone Estee Lauder Store in Menlyn Pretoria. It retails for R 430 for one mask. Not cheap, but for special occasions it does the trick. It leaves your skin feeling extra nourished, hydrated and gives a glow with the effects that last a few days as opposed to a couple of hours.
R110 and is available off Dermastore online. This is just lovely, deeply hydrating and if you ever have unhappy skin or have a reaction, it is very healing. Big thumbs up.
Is a luxurious mask that is the most expensive, but it is divine. Don’t forget to heat the mask while it’s on by rubbing your hands over it. It is magic. It goes for R590 (can be re used up to 3 times) online on Samika.
I’ve always been a fan of Dr Jart+. The texture of this sheet mask is great and it really does leave your skin brighter and more supple. I got mine from Muse Beauty online store for R140.00.
